    A look back at the official opening ceremony for the Boto mine in Senegal

    Managem Group celebrated a new milestone in its development in West Africa with the official inauguration of the Boto gold mine, attended by our Chief Executive Officer Mr Imad TOUMI and officials from Senegal and Morocco.

    This evening, marked by vision, determination and collective commitment, brought together our teams and partners around a shared ambition: to build lasting and shared success.

    We were honoured to welcome:
    - HE Birame Souleye Diop, Minister of Energy, Petroleum and Mines
    - His Excellency Hassan Naciri, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Senegal
    - His Excellency Moustapha Mamba Guirassy, Minister of National Education

    As well as several representatives from the economic and institutional worlds.

    Their presence testifies to the strength of the partnerships between Morocco and Senegal and underlines the strategic importance of the Boto project for the development of the mining sector.

    With an investment of €350 million, an average annual production target of 160,000 ounces of gold over the first three years and estimated reserves of 1.8 million ounces (nearly 56 tonnes), the Boto mine marks a decisive step in the development of the gold sector in Senegal. Its lifespan is estimated at 12 years.

    First gold pour at Boto: a new chapter for Groupe Managem in Senegal

    We are proud to announce the first gold pour at the Boto mine, located in the Kédougou region.

    This major milestone marks the start of production, culminating more than two years of work and confirming our gold strategy in West Africa.

    - 1.8 million ounces of estimated reserves
    - An open pit mine with a capacity of 35 Mt/year
    - A 2.75 Mt/year processing plant incorporating state-of-the-art processes
    - Strategic infrastructure: 23 MW power plant, dam, dyke, base camp, airstrip, road network, etc.
    - More than 2,500 jobs created during construction, 90% of which were filled by local resources
    - Ultimately, more than 1,500 direct and indirect jobs created

    With an expected production of 160,000 ounces/year over the first three years and a projected lifespan of 12 years, Boto is establishing itself as one of Senegal's most important mining projects.

    Boto, was designed as a real lever for sustainable development, contributes to access to drinking water, the strengthening of health infrastructure, the training of young people and women, and the deployment of income-generating programmes for the benefit of local communities.

    Final sprint before the launch of Tizert

    A few days before the launch of the Tizert site, our CEO M.Imad TOUMI visited the site in the evening to share a special moment with the teams who, day and night, are putting their energy and expertise into this major project.

    His presence embodies the vision and determination that drives us all: to make Tizert not only an industrial success, but also a strategic milestone in the history of the Managem Group.

    As the final phases of testing and preparation get underway, every action and every effort brings us closer to this key moment.


    More than just a start, this project marks a major step forward in our ambition to become a key player in the energy transition, combining innovation, responsibility, and collective commitment.

    Managem's summer camp, the unmissable annual event for our employees' children

    More than 2,000 children of employees from all regions of the Kingdom gathered in Bouznika for a series of sessions to enjoy a fun and meaningful human adventure under the theme: ‘The children of the Managem Group, from all regions, committed to a sustainable environment’.
    Several activities were organised and designed to bring this edition to life in a spirit of fun and knowledge sharing:

     

    • Environmental awareness workshops and planting activities
    • Artistic, sporting and cultural competitions
    • Launch of a radio station and podcast designed and run entirely by the children
    • Cultural visits to Rabat's iconic monuments
    • A welcome day marked by safety induction and the distribution of kits and supplies

    An initiative that promotes values, combining learning, living together and commitment to a better world.

    Growth of 20% in consolidated revenues of the group as of march 31st, 2025

    As of March 31, 2025, Managem Group reports a 20% increase in its consolidated revenue.
    At the same time, the Group is actively advancing the rollout of its strategy, with major progress on projects under construction and the establishment of strategic partnerships.
