Pumpi project

The Pumpi site is located in the Kolwezi territory of Katanga (Democratic Republic of Congo) and contains deposits of Copper and Cobalt. Exploration work helped reveal a deposit of 600,000 tonnes of Copper. The project aims to produce more than 40,000 tonnes of Copper and 5,000 tonnes of Cobalt per year

The Pumpi project is currently in the feasibility study phase.

For this project, we signed a partnership with the Chinese group Wanbao Mining. This latter holds 75% of the project, Managem 20% and the Congolese state 5%. This operation is a major project, bolstering our African operations.
