Managem R&D Prize awarded to BEP Junior Enterprise, based in Marrakesh and manufacturing fertilizers and pesticides from organic waste. In partnership with Injaz Al-Maghrib, Mangem participated in the annual national competition recognizing the best Junior Enterprises in Morocco.

CGEM organized an award ceremony attributing “CSR label trophy” to 18 companies, in recognition of their commitment in terms of social responsibility and sustainable development. Managem and its subsidiaries SMI, AGM and Reminex are rewarded for the sturdiness of their achievements and CSR commitments. A recognition continually renewed since the first label received in May 2013.

Managem reinforces its activities in Guinea and takes control of Tri-K, an important gold project in which the Group invested 176 MUSD. It will enable Managem to establish its position as local development player, with more than 800 jobs created in the end. With reserves of more than 1 million gold ounces, Tri-K is one of the most important Gold projects of Managem. The objective is to produce 120 KOz (3,5 tonnes) per year.

Managem welcomed Mines and Geology minister of Guinea, M. Abdoulaye Magassouba and his delegation, as part of his official visit to Morocco. Visits of Guemassa site in Marrakech and Managem R&D center took place. It was the occasion to share the Group’s industrial progress and to discuss opportunities of expertise exchange, R&D, training and skills growth. Managem develops an important Gold project in Guinea in which we are sustainably investing in order to create social and economic value in Africa.
